Are you trying to install MODs compatible with 2.0?

How are you trying to install them.  Via direct download from inside the package manager or download and upload/install from the downloaded file?

Try to download it to your computer and install via that file using Package Manager.

If might be a fault with the actual mod itself and it's compatibility with SMF 2.*  Have you tried contacting the author?  Or what is the mod/s you are trying to install?

Doesn't look like it was able to parse the modification.  99% of the time this is a FILE/FOLDER PERMISSIONS error.  most of the time it is due to the was the server is set up.  In this instance SMF is unable to create the /temp directory within /Packages to parse the mod.  Create the folder manually, Chmod it to be writable, then try installing the mod.
