my messages[1]

I deleted all my old pm's and I have no messages, still I see on the nav-bar 'my messages[1]'
'Cleared cache but it's still there . Using smf 2.0beta3

I trawled the forum for similar issue but not found. help always well appreciated......

Did you delete inside SMF?

or did you empty them out via other means eg phpmyadmin?

I just deleted them from inside smf.
[edit] I just applied the new patch, and all is fine now.
