Copying and Pasting of BBC code not working

When copying and pasting code not using the WYSIWYG editor
the formatting is not working using IE7

I've quite a few template posts that are used to log support issues.
A screenshot of one of these templates is attached.

This worked fine under 1.1.4

When pasting the code comes out like follows:

Hmm OK that's not what I was trying to demonstrate..!
The code box seems to have squished itself...

This is a known bug in SMF 2.x
SMF isn't copying newlines.

I believe this has already been fixed in the SVN (development version),

So it should be fixed for the next 2.0 beta 4 when that is released.
