It's on every page inside the admin area... every page I looked at anyway. Also kinda off topic but wasnt PM on registration supposed to be implemented with 2.0... grant it it's still in testing but I thought that was gonna make it in.

One of the SMF people mentioned it along time ago in regards to a question I asked... AND that is the full error... just without the URL since the errors the same accross all pages in admin the URL isnt required.

Yeah I'd ask for your money back

You should see the other 550+ outstanding support threads ....

In your pages source for those areas, can you see anything Line 40 character 2? From that I don't think we can offer any assistance. Can you link to the active forum?

When you view source for a page it doesnt number by lines unless Im suposed to just count 40 lines down breakes included.

Interesting I can't replicate any syntax error when viewing the site, FireFox or IE7.

Now does it only just error when you access the admin area, and no other area of the forum? Did it ever not error?

Its only in the admin area, the rest of the site is working flawlessly. Now far as I can tel that error isnt even cuasing any issues, I only made this post to find out WTF it is.

I complain of slow response because thats all most anyone gets here any more. I realise this is all done on free time but two weeks to reply is nuts and to ask me things Ive already done is like a slap i nthe face and I'll mark it as unsolved. A problem is only solved when a resolution has been found, if someone decides to give up because of ignorance then that doesnt automatically complete an issue.

Edit: Also so you dont come back and say I never answered you there were never any mods installed on the forum in question, when I upgrade it did a full overwrite of all mods that were installed so the install is new in the sense that there never were any mods installed and before you say maybe the overwite wasnt successful which is causing the error please dont because it was 100% successful.

How am I suppose to know what you've done, or anyone looking at this thread.
1. You gave no details on the install of the forum. You never once mention it was an upgrade, a fresh install, or whatever.
2. You never mention if you've testing in alternate browsers (which I asked), to see if it's a browser is (IE browser can be fickle)
3. You never mention if you've testing it on alternate machines (which I asked), it could be your machine.
4. As point 1, you never mentioned the method of installation (there are many). You never mentioned if any mods at all were installed, we are not mind readers.
5. You don't even mention which version of SMF 2.0 BETA you are using.
I wont even go into templates files and themes.

Now the time wasted on trying to convince someone to help us, help them means it can take a lot longer to get around to the hundreds of other support topics. If you say 'forget about it', and want to take no further part in troubleshooting. There is little we can do but mark it solved to clear it from our cue.

Well, like I said its not really affecting anything which is kinda why I got the whole give up attitude. But two weeks for a reply was the kicker... and since I'm in a good mood how bout a 1, 2, 3 etc type of questionaire and I'll "try" my best to answer and not get on anyones nerves.

Also, I apologize for nothing Ive said... I only say that because I havent slept in 3 damn nights and no ones ms / mr perfect when they dont sleep.
