Upgrading from SMF 2.0 Beta 3 to 3.1

How to upgrade from SMF 2.0 Beta 3 Public to 3.1 ? Dont want to upload all the files again, since I've made some changes to templates.

Is there a list of what files has changed? Maybe I can simply upload Subs folder only or something, or maybe there are changes within DB too?

Use the package manager, it will even notify you of the update and provide a link to automatically download it.

The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.

I got this too, thats why I had to update manually, maybe you could try that?

I also get this message when trying to install a mod in 3.1, someone else posted about this a while ago too, I don't know why it does this.

I just used the package manager to apply beta 3.1 without any errors.

anshar, Fatality-, have you managed to do the upgrade? The best way to do this is via the update patch -- there should be a link for this in the main Admin page and in Package Manager (Admin > Packages).

The update patch link has been updated to point to a .zip file instead of a .tar.gz one, since the latter doesn't get verified correctly on some servers. So try that again.
