I've currently got a forum located at the root of my url, ie - hxxp:www.smfforum.com [nonactive]

I'd like to move it to hxxp:www.smfforum.com/forum [nonactive] - does anyone know how would I make this move without losing my settings, posts, etc?

Thanks,
Neko

Should be able to create the /forum directory, then copy all your files to that directory and run repair_settings.

Cheers.

How is the repair_settings feature run/activated?

Put it in the smf folder then browse to it  http://www.smfforum.com/repair_settings

It will show you the correct paths and fix them at a click.

Make sure to remove the file once you have finished.

Oops, I should have said you can download repair_settings.php from here:

http://www.simplemachines.org/download/?tools

FTP it to your forum directory and then point your browser to it as nightbre said.

Great.  You can mark your first post of the thread as solved.
