Very nice and useful, but, as Eliana said, It would be great if you could write a custom message for each locked topic.

No.

technically its just a normal post thats added to a thread when the topic is locked.

ok, now I understood what is happening.
When you choose lock topic in tab button it is ok but if you choose to modify a topic and then lock it clicking in the lock sign it does not work.
Also if you have those lock sing enabled as admin and just click in it does not work also.

A new version is out. With the idea of my mod advisor, the feature is made to work like the move topic action.

And the surprise is that; now the mod supports SMF 2.0 Beta 3.1.

See the chanlog written in the first message of the topic.

Ur_Irish_Rose, uninstall the version 1.0 and install the new version.

You can not define a default topic locked message in this version. I thought that it would be useless. Because generally lock actions would have specific reasons. Also adding a setting in ModSettings.php makes the mod a bit difficult to install.

When you mass-lock topics, just as mass-move, there is no dialog for reasons. That's one place where the default might come in handy.

The version doesn't include any options. Just lock the topic as you move a topic and it will redirect you to post a reason.
