Hello,

Can i use the Orstio's Joomla Bridge 1.1.7 with SMF 1.1.5? My Joomla version is 1.0.12.

I use SMF 1.1.4 and installed ad management mod 2.3 and i worried if update to SMF 1.1.5 my Joomla or bridge no longer works.

Sorry about my English.
Thanks.

Orstio

Yes.  As always, the bridge makes no changes to SMF, so you can go ahead and upgrade SMF when security/maintenance releases are issued.

It will not work with 2.0, however.  And, Running on such an old version of Joomla is bound to run you into security issues.

Ok, thanks for responses. I'm update to SMF 1.1.5 now....

And no one way to use your bridge with Joomla 1.0.13 or better. Im sad to hear all your "break" with Joomla team. I'm very like your bridge and i choose to not update Joomla and still use your bridge and SMF 1.1.x.

I'll migrate to Mambo if there are something to convert to Mambo. I try all way have i found at Mambo Forum, SMF Forum and other, but it's complicated, and not success.

But, once again, thanks for your responses and sorry about my english.

Regards.

Orstio, I too am using the older 1.0.12 Joomla because of my lack of technical knowledge. Can you point me in the right direction on how to address a new CMS and still use SMF?
Thank you so much for all of your hard work to support all of us!

Just updated from 1.1.4 > 1.1.5 with no problems. I noticed the theme looks a bit different than what I had, but other than that no real issues.
