Avatar with external link not saved?

I have one problem with smf 2.0 beta 3.1, when i try to add one avatar in my profile using one external link ( example tinypic) nothing happen, i view the avatar but when i click CHANGE PROFILE nothing change and avatar is not added
some solution ?
permissions are set all enabled for avatar

It might be a bug with 2.x

Do you have the function allow_url_fopen to get the image? (I think thats the right function that needs to be enabled and allowed to be able to get images from other sites)

sorry, problem solved i was busy at work everything is ok enabling one option
