Can't install any packages

i got a problem i uploaded a package called awards but if i press on apply mod this shows up

You cannot download or install new packages because the Packages directory or one of the files in it are not writable!

the directory and teh files got chmod 777

Hi,

I have never installed a mod before. But I'm guessin' it work's like this...

Upload the File (SimpleAwards) using FTP to your directory...
forumname/forumtemplate/mod
change the CHMOD Value to 755.
Please tell me if this didn't or did work.

most likely a host configuration problem.

try creating a directory called "temp" inside the Packages folder and chmod it to 777.
