layout help

I was wondering if it's possible to make the "new/read icons" the "how many posts" and the "last posts" sections disappear from some of the board previews on the main index (even removing the child board links would be cool).  I'm using the default theme.

so I have this now...



and would like something like this....



but I'd like to do this on just a few of the boards and leave the rest as they were originally.  Is this possible?
