Inter-forum quiz. Logistics.

There are five-or-six SMF sites that are thinking of ways of holding a kinda inter-forum quiz.

Intially, we thought of using IRC. Problem, with that, is that we have members in all sorts of weird far-flung countries. So, getting them all online, at the same time, is likely to be a logistical nightmare.

No point in posting the questions in the forum, coz everybody will just use Google, which somewhat defeats the object. Unless....

The best idea we've come-up with, thus far, is to use the "Hide" tags, in some way.

What would be ideal, we think, is to be able to make a note of the time of hitting "Reply" and, also, the time when they hit "Submit", allowing them, say, thirty seconds between the two, to type their answer.

We know that the time of posting is already taken. Is there a way of getting the other one?

Come to that, can anyone think of another way of doing this?

We all have a test forum, which is running SMF v2.0. We're thinking of using that, just for this quiz.

Is that coded inside SMF or another script is connected to the SMF?

That is just one quiz. I am talking about a mod that has:

- Quiz categories
- Unlimited number of quizes
- A panel to control quizes, add questions, choices etc.
- A stat panel showing users' success.

This would be the most popular mod on here - everyone has given up on a quiz mod in the past.
