AJAX Quick Reply

I've been saving up to invest on a new post to host forum for quite a while now. So I was looking around for free forum softwares and came back to SMF.
Sadly there is one very cool mod that SMF does not have. One of the best things about vB is it's AJAX quick reply mod. If anyone can make this for me I will be converting back to SMF.

I've been thinking of a way to do this in SMF with its templating system and unfortunately I'm having a hard time thinking of how to do it, otherwise I would have by now for my own site.  If anyone has ideas, I'm fair game and would code it in a heart beat.

But I've done very little ajax stuff at this time.

I've been hoping someone else would take up the challenge.

I can get the ajax stuff down without an issue... and I could make it work with the default SMF theme too, but it would become pretty hard for people with custom themes to make it work easily on their custom theme without quite a bit of modification... unless.... I have an idea.  I'll see if I can do this over the next couple days... :evil grin:
