Yabb 2.1 to SMF 1.15 ...smooth sailing

Hi All,
Finally discovered SMF and upgraded my Yabb 2.1 board with the converter.
To say it was a very smooth sailing with the webinstall and converter would be very true. I have a functional board very fast.  Thanks SMF

My small queries are

I have some custom fields in the profile of the users like age, phone etc in Yabb. In the import I see  they have been missing in the profile fields of SMF display. Also in some profiles i can see location, age in others i dont see them. Some fields are totally absent like the phone number.

I have also modded SMF to add custom profile fields however now if i add them to the profile display i get 2 locations one from the new mod and other from the earlier import.

Is there some way i can display the earlier profile custom fields from YABB to SMF ?
Also the SMF custom field mod is not the refined as it does not have options for numeric or drop down options ... what can be done ?

Since custom profile fields is a mod in SMF 1.1 it isn't copied over.

You are welcome to modify the .php file as needed though to convert the data

SMF does not provide support for converting of 3rd party mods to SMF (or 3rd party SMF mods).
The reason for this is the possibility of many different mods could mean different ways of this being done.

The source code is there and would just need some time to match things up and test it.

Well there is no need to add the location field again via the Custom Profile mod.  Just use the current default field.

Now for the other fields, the most viable option I think is to add the 'old' custom fields and get your users to re-populate those field.  I know it's not ideal, but I think it's your only option at the moment.
