search attachments also

Hello everyone
is it possible to make SMF search in the attachments also?

You mean to search through text attachments? I do not think it is likely this feature is coming. There are so many different file types. Maybe someone has an idea how to realise this as a mod, but I do not see how this is beneficial and useful to everyone as a feature.

If you mean search the names of the files that have been attached... could be an interesting mod

yea that's what i meant because sometimes they post for example a topic called "nice clip" and the body message "enjoy :wav: ", the attachment name is "moto crash.avi"
so no way to find "moto crash" when searching the forum, it could be nice to add a checkbox in search "search attachment" and then search attachment name
hope somebody will make a mod for it

it doesn't do searches, it just makes a page that lists all the attachments

I like the idea of searching attachment names.  Searching through the text of a text attachment would be painful though (ever try doing a search on a yabb board?)

i'm not talking about searching inside the attachments (like searching in attached text files) but i mean only search within the attachment names

i believe that won't search in attachment names it will only shows the attachments (there's kinda 2000 attachments right now so it's painfull to search fro on attachments between 2000 one
