Hi
I am still in the early stages of configuring my new forum and I have spent time looking through the support manuas/docs, which tell me I should have a section called Security and Moderation in the Configuration section of the Admin centre, except its not there!!! Help!

Why is this link missing from the nav when I'm the only administrator and have full permissions?

Any help much appreciated.

NickC

Have you got a Configuration section at all in your Admin center? It should contain:

Features and Options
Security and Moderation
Server Settings
Modifications
Current Theme
Themes and Layout

What Theme are you using?

Hi
I am using SMF Default Theme - Core

I have a configuration centre but the only links I see are:

Features and Options
Server Settings
Current Theme
Themes and Layout

Any ideas?

That area is new to SMF 2 Beta, it doesn't exist in SMF 1.1.5, so don't worry about those settings. Its odd that the documentation is only for SMF 2 Beta, but you should be able to correctly configure your forum, by going through every tab and having a look at every setting, most of them have little help [?] pop-ups which can help you.

I'm using SMF 1.1.5.
I only downloaded it last week.

You put your question in the SMF 2.x Support section, so this took a bit of working out!
