Yep that should work. I am in the process of upgrading my mods now (finally), but I am also rewriting them to use OO instead of procedural programming, they will also use the new integration hooks instead of modifying default smf code where possible =)

I will be updating it to use the integration hooks in the coming weeks. You can still most likely install it using the advanced options in the package manager and version emulate.
