bumping in1.1.8

OK. I have trawled the search facility for knowledge on how to set up bump topics in 1.1.8.
But nada.  I want to stick with this version as I am using a theme that does not work with 2.0.

Is there a mod for it? Cheers Phil

The bump topics mod is 2.x only i'm afraid.

the only way i can think of to bump posts to the top is to sticky them... or Goto edit the post, save it and it will be at the top again.
