can I convert to smf with profile manager?

I am using profile manager 4 (interlogy.com)
It is integrated with phpbb3, but I hate phpbb already (its only been a week)
I've been using SMF for years and would like to continue

Would the converter work for me?

a conversion is possible i think, but you will loose integration.  maybe, you can integrate it with SMF's SSI-Functions or the API..
Ultimate Profile Mod can also be interesting for you..
