Getting 500 Internal Server Errors. Also, core.# files

Okay. Running SMF 2 Beta 3.1

About an hour ago or so, everyone started to get 500 Interla Server Errors.

The core dumps were into the 30000s, so I deleted them. They dated back to like early June.

Edit: NEvermind, checked my email, the host is in the process of upgrading php

the softexception seems to be related to index.php being world-writable.  Seems your host restricts this.

Let us know if the problem continues once PHP is done updating -- it sounds like they installed SuPHP.
