Normally, do you also have core dumps in your directory? I suggest opening up a new topic for this as these issues may vary from user to user.

Stef001

I have core dumps in my public_html.
It is the same problem.

Topic split....

Are you having problems with any of the following mods:

PM Informer

I don't see anything wrong in that file but those mods are the only thing that's different from the original file. More likely than not, it's a host issue....basically 99.9%. They might not admit and even blame SMF for it. I had it happen to me also with the core files. Eventually they upgraded cPanel and recompiled Apache and PHP. That fixed the whole mess up. Contact your host and ask them to look into this doing this if possible. I know they usually won't budge unless it's affecting a lot of users.

I go back to my host.

All the mods give no problems, not that i aware of.

Thanks for the answer.

I'm not sure of the format or encoding of that index.php, try the attached version.

What version of PM Informer are you using?

I have trowed away whole SMF and did a fresh install without any mods.
Al the problems are away.
So it was what my host said a software problem.
Probably with one of the mods.

Thanks all for the help.

Stef.

Well that was a little extreme.  Well next time try to install one mod at a time, making sure it works 100% and then move the next.  This way you can see exactly what mod is causing your issue.

I try the other way.
I start now with the mods.
The forum was very terrible.

Thanks for the help.
