Moving users from other data base? Plus giving USERS more posts than they have?

I went to my forum which I haven't went to in a long time and while the forum shows quite a few users, I could not log in as admin at all, so I created a new forum, thus the asking about giving users MORE posts then they really have, especially if they have been around a long time.

Is this the right place to ask?

Basically, I want to somehow via ADMIN give the users more posts so they don't look like a noob,

You can give them more post in the profile of the user.

If you had access to the old forum, you could of even transferred the whole contents to the new forum.  But yes as an administrator you just go to someone profile, edit their details and change their post count.
