I have two questons about 2.x

1. What theme is used to give this fresh new feel on this forum? I have gone through the 4 (I think) themes and none look like this one. I would love to have this look on the new 2.X install.

2. My next thing is on my forum, whenever you submit a post, you are redirected to the page with all the forum listings. This is somewhat annoying. What can I do to make sure that when a user submits a post, he remains inside the same in which the therad and not taken to the page which lists the different forums. It is more like I am always redirected to the home page of the forum. This is not good.

I'll answer your questions in order.

1.) This theme is currently not up for grabs. More information is posted some other thread I'm not about to go look for. 

2.) This is a user preference. Go into your profile, select "Layout Options", check the box that says: "Return to topics after posting by default. []".

You can also set the default for new members for this and other parameters in:

Admin -> Themes and Layout -> Member Options -> Configure guest and new user options for this theme
