Converting from IPB 2.2.2 - Error: Converting yearly events... Unsuccessful!

Hi!..

I was trying to convert an IPB 2.2.2 into my recently installed SMF 1.1.5, but somehow it got disastrously converted.

I got this result:

Converting...

Converting members... Successful.
Converting categories... Successful.
Converting boards... Successful.
Converting topics... Successful.
Converting posts (this may take some time)... Successful.
Converting polls... Successful.
Converting poll options... Successful.
Converting poll logs... Successful.
Converting personal messages (step 1)... Successful.
Converting personal messages (step 2)... Successful.
Converting topic notifications... Successful.
Converting board notifications... Successful.
Converting moderators... Successful.
Converting yearly events... Unsuccessful!

This query:
SELECT
SUBSTRING(title, 1, 30) AS title,
CONCAT(year, '-', month, '-', mday) AS eventDate
FROM `thanatos_forum`.ibf_calendar_events
WHERE event_repeat = 1
AND repeat_unit = 'y'
LIMIT 0, 500;
Caused the error:

Table 'thanatos_forum.ibf_calendar_events' doesn't exist

However, this was merely the tip of the iceberg... Because:

1) In the home page, there are no categories or no boards showing.

2) In the Admin tab, in Forum/Boards, the Categories are showing, but no boards at all.

3) If I click on a member name and look for it's posts, the posts show, even saying they belong to a certain board, but like I said the board is not accessible from anywhere. If you click on that post's title or the link to it's board, you get a blank page.

4) In the Admin tab, in Members/Members, only the first page shows with the first 30 members. However in the Members tab, the whole 63 pages with 1261 members is visible.

5) Members have usernames and display names in IPB, but when I convert, all display names are lost.

6) Passwords are not working: I had to use the "recover password" feature for myself.

7) Attachments were all lost, and in many messages.

8: Emoticons don't show. what you get is something like: [img src=\"style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":)\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" /]  [img src=\"style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":)\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" /]

... And who knows what else is malfunctioning... I spoted this in the first 20 minutes.

Can anyone help in spoting what can be going sooo wrong?

Thanks in advance!

I used to have a Eve Community Forum, and paid around $30 a month for it... It was ridiculously poor in features, but quite user friendly and stable. Then I changed to this paid IPB, and the tech support guys converted from my Eve to this IPB. I was still paying, but now it was less than anually, so I was already sparing money and the forum was much powerful. I only needed to pay if I wanted to continuously have tech support and upgrades. But I stopped paying it because I realised there was nothing superior about it, compared to other free softwares like SMF or PHPbb (which I also tried a long time ago before Eve). Now I really fell in love with SMF and all it's Themes and Mods... But it's a nightmare to think that I will have to convert messages and members manually. I don't mind doing it for the categories and boards, or even the attachments... But really... Converting 1261 members one by one and all the messages.... That's about impossible to do manually!..

Did you try the one attached in the sticky at the top of this forum for IPB 2.2?

Oh thanks!.. I had seen that topic already, but I had read it sort of diagonally. Now I have tried the first "invision22_to_smf", and it seems to solve almost everything, but not really everything.

However, I'm confused because I see there several "invision22_to_smf" files and I'm not sure which one is the better and latest one. shall I use the latest one in that topic or are them different solutions for different problems.

After you reply to this one I will continue to discuss this subject in that topic.

Thanks!

Most of the files attached in there where tests to try and fix a bug. The latest one should be attached there.
I attached to this post the latest file I have in the SVN repo.

But I would need you to explain the bug so I might be able to figure out what possibly is going wrong here.

Conversion Complete

Apart from what it says here about Avatars (which I don't know what it means, specially since there were no avatars in my IPB), what I noticed is that although there is a link to Private Messages and although it even says I have 7 PMs, the truth is that when I click on the link, it shows no PMs at all.

Also, although all categories, posts, members and even attachments were converted, I have one category and two boards, that don't have the title in bold, while all others have... Why is that? It didn't use to be that way in IPB...

Thanks.

Even though your question got answered I will echo this for future searching.

Run this query via phpMyAdmin:
What is phpMyAdmin?

UPDATE smf_pm_recipients
SET labels = '-1';

Yes, it got answered and my problem was solved! ;) I'm glad my topic will be usefull to future similar support issues!

...And about the bold/regular font in the links, that's just the way it was configured in CSS of the BlazedV1 theme I have chosen.

But I have corrected it in the CSS.

Thanks!
