I took a brand new copy of smf, and installed the Doodley theme to it. When the default (no pic) avatar is selected the blank image is not connecting, so it shows that missing image icon. Has anyone else run into this? How can I fix it? Is there a way to change the default image, so I can just upload a different blank gif file? I looked at the template php code, and everything seems to be fine - and the referenced image files are there. Whats going on. I hate to scrape the whole thing and switch to PHP BB... my other choice from 1&1 hosting. I hate to do a custom install because I am limited on time. Any help is greatly appreciated.

My email is oneCoolDude08 (at) the popular "Y" site ... sorry didn't want it picked up by spammer bots.  :D

Here is a link hxxp:forum.algae-bio-diesel.com [nonactive] if it will help. I am not the best at explaining things at 9:20 in the morning! Maybe if I had some mega caffiene  :D

Nice afternoon to you also! I went to authors site, and he is having the same problem wit his site, lol. Obviously a theme issue! He also had another mistake of images not showing up, and it was because the code said .gif, but he made the images .png, which I did correct.  I don't understand making such a nice theme, and then not taking an extra 30 minutes to fix all the little bugs. I may have to (gulp) pay a programmer to fix it, since I don't feel like screwing with it. I know it's gotta be something simple, but it's a pain going through someone elses code.  :P

Alright :)

Try to add an auto.gif to images folder. This image should be "No Avatar" image

You might want to take a look at the login and search section of your forum, when not logged in.  The theme as it is, is messed up in Firefox.

As with all themes it's best to consult the themes author with issues (so they can fix them) via their support/comments thread.
