news fader background colour

i would like to change the colour of the news fader background ie the white bit
i done a search and could find some post that said it could not be done because it would change other sections of the forum
i take it they meant the search bar amongst others
if so then this is not a problem for me
so how would i do it

Replace:

Koodi [Valitse] Laajenna

<td valign="middle" style="background-color: #FF0000;" align="center" height="60">';

and change background color
