Member notification of post made in one section of the board

I have searched, but haven't found anything that I can get to work.

I am looking for a mod where you select a person(s) to get a notification by their email registered to their account, telling them that someone has posted in a certain section of the forums.

The reason I am looking for this is, I run a few car/truck club websites, and I have sponsors.  When a sponsor comes on board, they are given their own section on the forums.  These sections are for members to ask for prices and ask questions about the sponsors products.

Some sponsors don't monitor their section of the board as much as others may, so I would like to incorporate something where when a member posts in the sponsors section, the sponsor will get an email, letting them know that there is a new post in their section of the board.

I know this is similar to a topic notification, but I am looking to get the sponsors notified of every new post made in their area of the board.

Can this be done?
