Hello,

I've searched the forum and it seems nobody reports this problem, so I'm afraid something is wrong my side.

As administrateur, I try to edit permissions for membergroups, but I only get a blank page. Firefox sys the page loading is terminated (son no loading problem).
Others sections look to work fine.

What happens ?

Anyone with the same problem ?

Any solution ?

Thks a lot

Are you getting any errors one the page or in the error log? If so then could you please post them.

Have you installed any modifications lately? When you altered the permission attributes, did you do the same for other core files such as settings.php?

How do I chmod? / What is chmod?

pikkabbu

Well, no.
I haven't installed any mod.

The only changes I tried are unsuccessful new smileys

Your folders should be CHMOD to 755 and your root files should be ok with 644.

If you still get that second error with the open_base restriction, contact your host and give them that error.
