Hi there,
I'm the using SMF 2.0 beta 3.1 in the board http://www.project-bb.org/

I've created another topics regarding the same issue here & here.

I haven't got solution there. I really need help in this matter. First of all let me explain the problem. Some user named Lauvett is registering on my site. I've deleted that user for 7 times now. That user is spamming from my site for some stupid relationships.

That user is sending mails and private message to all the members of the community.

Also its not possible to avoid that as i don't know the coding part of php and SMF. I'm scared because as I've developed the community & got a good impression from my friends. But now that member is sending message by giving the reference of the community.

All members of the community are asking me about that. Basically i figured out some solution for problem. But still not able to proceed further for making it unhacked. let me tell you what i'm trying to achieve.

1) I want to disable the index.php?action=emailuser;sa=email;uid=1 action. If possible make it available for admins only.
2) Post count under which they should not be able to send the private message. There is a setting for Number of personal messages a user may send in an hour & Post count under which users must pass verification when sending personal messages, but still i want to make it so to avoid the spam.
3) I want to set the flag of all my member to hide their mail address from phpMyadmin.
The query might will be of the following form. But i don't know actual variables.

for all members ( email_hide_flag== 1)

I've hosted my site on free host. That's why by sending those many mail messages, it also makes a problem for me as there are restriction on max number of e-mails on per hour. That's why my account got banned 2 times.

So if possible, please tell me the way to manage the send message action. If you need any login details, ftp details, Panel details or phpMyadmin details. I will give it you. (You should be a staff or team member :P)

Thanks in advance. Please look into my problem. My free hosting will be canceled if my forum again reached that count for mails per hour. :(

not staff or a team member, but i know i can help with the third option for right now.

run the following sql query (i know it works since i did it)

update smf__members set hide_email='1'

i will see if i can help with the other two when i get time.
