What version of SMF are you using? (You can find this in the admin section or the copyright) If it is older than SMF 2.0 Beta 4 then you are using an outdated version and we would suggest to upgrade to newest version as soon as possible.

If he has Php safemode off then it should allow him to upgrade directly from the board and give him outdated warnings.

Well there's one good thing. You learned to not continue when you see warnings such as "Test failed." If you are a person who learns from their mistakes then you have learned something valuable that may help you avoid borking your forum in the future. :)

Please describe what is "not working right" and attach your Stats.php file to your reply post. Just FTP it down from your host then attach it to your reply.

That is an error with the Simple Portal mod, and it tends to be caused by an error in your 'index.php' file. Can you please post that file?

I am not sure about the admin error. That is odd. But if you post your index.php file then I can fix the simpleportal copyright error. ;)
