More options for membergroups

I would like a bit more configuration options for membergroups, eg size of avatars for one, attachment limits, etc.  just some way to give higher "powered" members more access to things

bump!  a year has gone and i thought i'd check out the demo forums for changes.. the member groups still seem to be as limited as before.
is this a planned feature or anything?

Well for a start, the demo forum here is still based on the 1.0.x code since 1.1 isn't final yet so if there are any changes, you won't see them in the demo.

sounds positive! so are you saying there is changes to the member group controls?

I'm afraid these were never a priority for 1.1 so you will most likely be dissapointed. The good news is some changes in this area are underway for the next version of SMF - albeit that is a long way away...
