My host recently took away all CGI/Perl support, so I'm looking to goto a PHP/MySQL database.  SMF looks to be the one...  I've been putting off the "upgrade" because of the complex migration to Yabb SE then to SMF.  Tonight, my dreams were answered with what appears to be a script to go straight from Yabb to SMF!

My Yabb version is 1 Gold - SP 1.3.2

SMF is a fresh install of  SMF 1.0.1

However, I'm getting an error with the yabb_to_smf.php script...

After several page reloads of telling me everything is okay and successful, it displays this message...

Converting...
Converting notifications... successful.
Converting posts (part 1 - this may take some time)...
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: convert_query() in /z/www/starcontrol/cgi-bin/temp/yabb_to_smf.php on line 1553

When I search yabb_to_smf.php for "convert_query", I only find one reference in the entire file on line 1553?

Can anyone offer any help?

Thanks!
Chad

Forgive me, it was a typo I made only today in an update.  The "convert_query" function is used in the 1.1 version of the converter.

Anyway, it should be fine now.... please download it again.

I downloaded yabb_to_smf.php two days back . The correction is not made in it.

Line #: 1481   : convert_query ("
                           to mysql_query  ("

Another error that took me for a ride for 4 hours .. ( I was waiting for the convertion to get over) was
function doStep14()
It is looping with a return statement .. dostep14().  Had to change

Line #: 1942  :   return doStep14 ();
                            to  return doStep15 ();

Then the script worked absolutely fine .. :)

Great work done by authors..
Mix a little foolishness with your serious plans: it's lovely to be silly at the right moment.
