Domain name with my host

Well, I have a free host as I have a small forum, and want a co.cc domain instead of the sub-domain they provide. I have tried to add this but it always turns into the subdomain instead of staying as the co.cc.

Like, I go to http://mysite.co.cc/ and it becomes http://mysite.myhost.com/ but I want it to stay at http://mysite.co.cc. And when I go to a page like my forums I want it to be http://mysite.co.cc/forums instead of http://mysite.myhost.com/forums.

If co.cc isn't compatible to do this could anybody tell me how to do this and a free Domain service that lets me do it?

And I did park or w/e the domain on my host but it didn't work...
