Strange thing

It seems right as someone posts they disappear from the on line user list and then appear again. Is this normal?

Do you mean this happens just when they hit post or while they're on the reply screen?

Well not quite sure. As an admin I sometime watch the who's online info closely when there is a heated discussion. Seems as right when or just before the user appears to log out, then there is a post and they are right back on.

Sessions (who's online info) is cached for performance issues, so it would need a few page clicks for it to be updated.
