Current-Version error

Getting an odd error which is reoccurring on my forum.  This is v2.0 b3.1 in the default theme (w/ altered color)

Not sure what this means.  Can't find anything in search here.

Basically smf has tried to get a copy of the 'latest news' as shown in the admin cp. (eg telling you about latest news with smf/ upgrades etc).
However for some reason smf was unable to.

If its continually happening, you can disable fetching of smf files via Admin > Forum Maintainance > Scheduled tasks.

I suspect its probably a server issue why its not working.  So i'm not sure whether upgrading to beta 4 would make any difference for you.

That makes sense cause I have been having some sluggishness and disconnects with my site tonight and the server...

Thanks for the heads up and suggestion.  Will be switching to 4.0 once the mods I use are all present.  I have a fickle membership and if they don't have certain things that we use... well, we won't go there.
