Last week I tried to update my forum from SMF 2.0 Beta 3.1 to SMF 2.0 Beta 4, I went through the update process in upgrade.php.

But when I tried to login it gave me an error, I thought it was something wrong with the update process, So I then reinstalled SMF 2.0 Beta 3.1 and now my Board Categories are messed up on the Board Index..

I still have SMF 2.0 Beta 3.1 installed, What am I doing wrong?

I would of posted this last week when I was updating the forum, however a recent familly tragedy occured.
Best regards,
James

First of all, Sorry for the late reply. Your topic was missed or slipped through the net in the flood of support requests.

Confused. . You were running 2.0 Beta 3, Upgraded to Beta 4 Public.
You logged in and got an error, What was the error?
. . . then you unpacked Beta 3 into SMF's dir and pointed it to use 2.0B4P database or you restored a backup?

How do the categories look, can I have a screenshot and/or a test account?

Sorry for the family tragedy, I hope you got that sorted ;)
