I have done it already.

It did not work.

For some strange reason, i found a temporary bug fix

check homepage nsubs(dot)com

you have a custom search.

if i search in all topics, it works ok every time.

i I search on a specific board, it doesnt.

in default smf search same thing happened. searching current board, or current topic, generated the error results.

but searching all boards it worked.

Why could that be?

Do you still need help with this?

just use google to search your site.

Search is the one thing SMF never gets quite right. Since I dont search my forum it doesnt matter to me, otherwise I would go with VB or something.
Unless you have your forum setup as a reference library or something it shouldnt matter to you either

you should learn to love SMF without complaining

Well that is the most pointless post of all time.

God grant me the strength to change the things I can,  the peace to Ignore the ones I cant, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Since the search doesnt work, why piss and moan about it when there is a superior work around? Searching via Google also doesnt abuse you mySQL connection either, and for that reason alone is the best recommendation for it

bitmovel, is this issue resolved now?

If not, try using this mod to see if it helps.

I was facing the same problem

QuoteThe database value you're trying to insert does not exist: id_search
Function: PlushSearch2
Line: 1543

I simply made the full index and forced the search to use the index...
now everything seems to go fine... lets see/hope if something new... worse don't occur
