Hi, everytime I try to Access this in the acp I get this error

An Error Has Occurred!
Cannot access attachments upload path!

I even get it while trying to add an attachment in a post
I also think I have alot of other issues which I cannot seem to figure whats wrong.

If someone who is an advanced user in SMF, maybe you can stop on over to my site and somewhat help me out with all the issues I have.

Anyways, thanks in Advanced to whoever has some time to assist me.

I've got the Gmail hookup. Bling Bling

You need to set the path in Edit Features and Options > Attachments.

well thank you so much, I just realized that. What had hapened was I was using the rc1 version sometime ago but I never bothered with it as I have quite a few other boards to maintain (phpbb), then I just did the upgrade to v1.0.1. today. But just recently I had my host move my files from one server to another (upgraded) and I had forgot to change the paths in a few of the areas in the smf upgrade.

The Package Manager too has issues lol, nothing installs

Please post a phpinfo.  What is phpinfo.php?  I'd guess its more path issues, or your host has something set up wrong.

This is the Failure I get when trying to install the shoutbox

This is from trying to apply the Buddy List

Now when trying the rest, they all say successful, but look when I try to view installed Packages

It would guess you've got a mixed set of changed files; try uploading clean from the upgrade package.

Make sure Packages si writable, and all the files within it are too.

I am in the process right now on doing a complete fresh install of smf, I hope this solves my Package Manager issue and that this ManagePermissions.php and BoardIndex.php doesnt give me anymore failures which I dont know why those 2 kept giving me errors

Edit, well this is smf is not working out for me, I did a complete fresh install, tried using the Package Manager and getting the ones from Grudge's Package Server , tried to install them, didnt get any errors this time, but I do not see any of these mods implemented into my board (using the default theme). Also still get the same issue

Package Manager - View and Remove Installed Packages
View and Remove Installed Packages
No mods currently installed

Isnt there a way to manually install these mods, I dont like this package manager. At least with phpbb the mods/hacks are so easy to implement into your forums

They work for some, not for others.  And yes, there are easy ways to apply them manually.

Are you sure the FTP information box is COMPLETELY GOING AWAY?  You're getting the message that says it was installed correctly, right?

How big is the file? Bear in mind that PHP probably has a max size limit of maybe 8MB on an upload file...
I'm only a half geek really...
