Hello,

in Subs-Post.php the standard is to send mails not in HTML-Format.

Here
http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=7735.0
is the postulation to translate f.e. EmailTemplates.german.php this way: ..."use numeric HTML Entities"...

In this actual german script mutations are written this way: "es kann später geändert werden"

Because of the fact, that the mail is not sent as HTML (what is good in this case - I think...), the recipient will get the mail with the whole "code". Something like this:

"es kann später geändert werden"

instead of

"es kann später geändert werden"

So what ...?  :)

That is in case of using UTF-8. I do not use this, but ISO 8859-1. And the problem isn't the same. I see the problem in the (here) EMailTemplates.german.php ...

It works fine, if the normal txt is written with mutations! I changed the HTML Entities in the non-HTML Mail to mutations in EmailTemplates.german.php , normally written in German ä, ö, ü and everything is working fine.

The same problem in alt="" Image Tags!!!

Maybe this postulation is wrong...?

QuoteI believe this is reported here:

That's not right. Why do you move this to Bogus Bugs without any solution?
