i want to have only one administrator in my forum. is there a way so that the administrator wont be able to register another administrator?

DirtRider

Well if you only have one Admin and I would imagine that would be you why would you want to stop yourself from registering another Admin if you don't want one?

i just want to remove the administrator so that i wouldn't accidentally register another admin

DirtRider

Well I am not sure if you can do that or if that is even a good idea. When you register a member by default they are registered just as a normal member unless you select another user group for them. So you should not accidentally register another admin

I recommend creating another admin account for yourself. A friend of mine deleted his own account my mistake and lost control of his own forum.

You simply cannot delete administrator usergroup.

Rumbaar

You can't stop an Administrator from giving other users the Administrator access.  But if you are the sole Admin, then there is nothing to worry about.  You don't 'register' Admins you place them in the membergroup ID 1, to be technically correct.

Administrators have all un-restricted access and cannot be denied access.  Also, as stated, the group cannot be deleted.
