Keep in mind that MuratbanK is not affiliated with SMF in any way shape or form and used the same hack to fix your site that destroyed it.  I strongly suggest you get upgraded to 1.1.6 to fix this important security hole.  If you can't get server access to fix it, this will happen again to you.

Although it is public information I don't think it is quite appropriate to post a person's name, address, phone number and email address in an open forum, particularly considering that email harvesting 'bots could be crawling SMF looking for email addresses to spam.

By posting the person's email address you are putting them at risk for being spammed. Note that many domain registrars have a CAPTCHA or other means to prevent automated harvesting, so by posting the information here you are bypassing the protective measures.

This thread was the first trigger of a few more events, eventually resulting in an even more disgusting action than the original hack by someone who pretended to help me with this: MuratbanK.
Be advised: He took over the forum I moderated and tried to steal money from my members by convincing them to donate from my own account.

Thank you for removing the personal information. The information may have led YOU nowhere but if the email address is valid it could lead to spam for them. In any case people's personal information should not be posted in a forum without their permission.

None of the information was valid any more the phone number the e-mail address nothing. What has happened here is disgusting to say the least. This is not the first time we have had a hacker using this forum for there own needs.

No, you used me to get information about the forum and you are now posing as me to scam the members into giving you money.

Willem I offered you a solution to this problem as I do not believe you will be able to recover this forum without the original owner being involved. The longer you leave it the further away you become in recovering anything from this forum. The PM has now been locked down to 1 an hour 

So unless you do something ASAP you all may as well just resign yourselves to the fact the forum is lost

I now think it will be better for me to now withdraw my offer as it is now becoming a bit ridicules, good luck in what ever you do

If that is the case now and you're sure he's sending scam PMs, I'd make arrangements to get MuratbanK banned. You can send me a Personal message so I'd look into this further.
However, by all means, you should get intouch with the Administrator.
