Log in question!!

let's see an example first:

suppose you are a registered but not logged in user on my website. when you are on the forum (SMF, integrated with mambo), you want to reply to a certain topic.

First thing you'll do is to log in, but after successfully logged in, you are being redirected to index page of the website, what you really want to do is to reply to that post, so you are surely want to keep staying on the same posting page even though after logged in.

How can I make this? I just want to the user stay where they were after logged in.

If you click the "login" button, it does as you suggest.  If you use the "quick login", it does not.
