Polish Translation...

Hello,
For 6 days iam using the smf and iam very happy with it. I was serching for something better than phpbb and i finally found it.

The lowdown is that there is no Polish version of the smf so iam planning to make a translation.

If there is any tutorial concerning translations please post about it, iam programming too so there is no problem for me to read the code i just want to translate it in good manner ( i want to create a language package or something similar ).

As far as I know there are two users that already translate into Polish, but I have to admit I have not seen either of them in a while.

As far as I know the polish files for 1.0.1 are done and should be uploaded soon.

heh i think ill just translate it, rar it and send it to one of you instead of contacting all those other polish translators. As i readed about theyre translations they started making something for the wrong version and such.

Better to translate it from scratch. I hope there isnt too much of it

I've the polish translation for 1.0.1. Why do you want to make a new one?

becouse there is still no download with it and i dont know if its good. You know polish translations for phpbb where mostly bad and i would like to be sure that evrything is at the right place.

It would be quicker for me to translate it my self in say 3 days instead of wating weeks.

Well thanks anyway i created a translation that i need. I dint translate all of it, just the part the users will view and the moderators. THe rest can stay in english.
