Table - Easy Question

How can I create a table (fitting the forum width) with some text in it that can go below the News and above the Maintenance Mode box?

edit the index.profile and find the comment ( text after // ) saying that the code below is the news box.

Then just find where the code for the news box ends and add there youre own code.

Remmember that youre using xhtml not html so you need valid syntax.

like only low case names and such. If you dont know xhtml do a google search regarding creating tables with xhtml and you will find youre code. As i recall there was many pages about that.

Just add that where the news box code ends. Find another comment below that code and add the needed code before the comment. Remmeber to echo it. If you dont now how to write the code there is a lnk in my psot to a google sarche concerning tables in xhtml but if absolutly dont know what it is all about i recommend jsut asking some friend to do it for you or learning basics about html and xhtml and php.

No one is hopeless.  However, I do think it would help you a lot more to know some about html.
