A problem with translated languages

Hi, I use a Bulgarian language for my forum. I've translated by myself some parts which were not translated. The problem I have is that: in Post new message screen I have everything translated except for Message icon text. It is in Post.bulgarian-utf8.php file in lines 41 ($txt[281]) to 46 ($txt[286]) and a few other lines.
The odd thing is that the text is translated but the forum keeps showing it in English even though I have selected Bulgarian. I've tried to change the words in the file for English (which is not so good option) but there was no effect.
Where's the problem?

The message icons are stored in the database and are customizable. Go to Admin -> 'Smileys and Message Icons' and change them to your liking :)

Thanks a lot for the answer! It worked!
I thought I should change the language file, but it was so easy - in the administration.
I've installed the forum just a few days ago and I am still getting used to it.
The forum is great!

Thank you again!

Regards,
Petar
