I upgraded from 1.1.6 last week and now when someone uses IE to login that error shows up but if you hit the home button you will be logged in. Can someone tell me what is causing this? Thanks in advance.

Did you try using the search results and trying the possible solutions mentioned? Here is one of them.

Yes, I checked the feature configuration and both "Enable local storage of cookies" and "Use subdomain independent cookies"were both unchecked. Then I renamed the cookie in server settings but nothing has worked.

I uninstalled pretty urls and now IE can log in! Does that make sense?  lol How could they be related?

I know there are problems with that mod and another one of the SEO mods. You might want to ask the author on that who may be more familiar with the situation.
