zero posts usergroup

I would like to set up a custom usergroup for my forum based off number of posts. This usergroup would be for new members who have no (zero) posts, and would only allow them to see a single "Introductions" board where they would be asked to post to introduce themselves. I also wish to hide the memberlist and stats from these users. Once they have made an introduction post (and thus, their post count would go up to 1), they would move up to the next usergroup and have access to all boards, etc. on my forum.

I attempted to set this up in "edit membergroups", but upon testing, it appears that this usergroup can still view and post to all of my boards, view the member list, etc.

Am I missing a setting here? Or is the problem that the software does not understand when I tell it to make a usergroup based off of 0 posts? How can I make this work?

that is possible I have the very same thing working on my forum.

Well you create the usergroup you need to check carefully which boards they are allowed to see. Or if you have already made it you can edit which boards they can see under manage boards and permissions.
Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better.

I've made sure that only the single board I want them to see is checked. I have even gone through the permissions for all the other boards one by one and set them to 0. Still, when I log in with a test user I set up who has never posted, I am able to access and reply to any thread on any board. Getting really frustrated here, I know I must be missing something simple...

Nobody out there is able to help me with this?  :'(

check if ungrouped members doesn't have access to the boards. They shouldn't have it for this to work.
