Do the edits ONLY for the files in your custom theme folder. dont worry about other files if they are missing.

In templates folder to edit index.template.php after </td> , there are several </td> commands in the file, should I have to add the codes under everything or only on the first occurance, help needed pls.

I am attaching my index.template.php file.

Well the parser you've linked too is for 1.1.7 and you're using 2.0 I guess.

So go to where you download it here and select the correct version of SMF and package, then view the parser for that install.

Thanks flamer for the reply, I will install it and comeback to you if any problem exisits, btw do i have to make a new file install.php and run it from forum root?, I just didnt understand the last part.

once again thanks for the support,

Rumbaar

Well you should install it via Package Manager and only files that are 'test failed' and the part not installed should be install manually.  SMF 2.0 BETA shows what isn't going to be installed and also tries to install into any currently installed themes, so it should make it easier.

Hello everyone.

I Just downloaded and installed ad manager ad_mod_1-1-x_v2-3.zip.  everything installed successfully but I am unable to see the Ad Manager link under configuration.  I'm using 1.1.8 and using the default theme.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

Rumbaar

Make sure all $txt[] strings for the mod are installed for your current forums default language.

I'm a complete noobie.

What does that mean and how am I supposed to do that?

FYI - I am using a new theme.

Rumbaar

Well check out the support thread for that mod, and do some searching on manual install of mods.  First check your language and then make sure you translate any $txt[] strings to your SMF 2.x languages.

Yes, as you've posted in the 2.x section of the boards.  Please create support threads in the correct locations, as coding is very different between the two.

This is why it's best to create your own threads or search before posting in an already on going thread.

Got ya, but i'm in the process of upgrading to 2.0. I'm copying over my old files with the new 2.0 package.  Stay tuned as i'm sure i'll have more questions...

Could not find any place addressing this:

I am using 2.0.7  default theme no other themes installed, no errors of any kinda
even uninstalled fine, and no errors.
Mod installs fine shows up in admin however no ads anywhere.
Codes are verified and tested work on test pages but not in the Forum .

Thanks

mod specific questions need to be asked in the support topic for that specific mod...   which I note that you already did... and which makes this a double post in an old, solved thread.

Please don't do that.
