Is there any way to show a bar, like some forums do, for the users karma? ie red for negative, green for positive, which expands with each rep or something..

also, is it possible to set it so when moderators give karma the points are worth 10

There is no way of showing a bar at the moment unless you wrote a mod to do that. Karma either displays as a total amount or +/-.

You can enable moderators to change the Karma of members in your board you will just need to give them the permissions to do just that.
