after convert  my forum from vb 3.6.8 (arabic) to smf have some proplem

Topics and Replies (languge) didnot convert completly ...

Did you choose to use UTF-8 (on the convert.php script)?
Where you using UTF-8 in SMF (on either install or via admin panel)?
Is the UTF-8 compatible language packs installed?

man .. it have nothing to do with the utf thing
arabic used to be windows-1256  and am soo lost with this one ..
